Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING UPDATE - Due to Covid-19, shipping can be delayed. We're doing our best to get your artwork to you as quickly as possible - our dispatch times remain the same, but delivery times may be slower than normal. Thank you for your patience and support, we appreciate it.

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You'll receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Shipping within the UK

We offer simple, £7.50 flat-rate shipping within the UK, and orders over £600 qualify for free UK shipping.

Artwork is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. You should expect to receive your artwork within 24-48 hours of receiving your shipping confirmation email.

International Shipping (including EU)

We offer simple, £15 flat-rate shipping to all countries outside of the UK, and orders over £750 qualify for free International shipping.

The most suitable courier service will be selected based upon your shipping address. Depending on your location, artwork usually arrives 3-10 days after you receive your shipping confirmation email.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. TORN Contemporary is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Please note, we do not ship to P.O. boxes.

How do I check the status of my order?

Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

United Kingdom: 
If you haven’t received your order within 3 days of receiving your shipping confirmation, please contact us at with your name and order number.

International orders:
If you haven’t received your order within 12 days of receiving your shipping confirmation, please contact us at with your name and order number.


Please contact us before returning any items - artwork sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery. To be eligible for a return, your artwork must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. 

We reserve the right not to accept any returns which do not comply with the above criteria.

To return an artwork, please email us at, you’ll need your order number or proof of purchase. We’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. You will be responsible for the cost of return.


We'll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned artwork. If the above criteria has been followed, you’ll automatically be refunded on your original payment method, less the cost of shipping.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund to your account.

Damaged artwork

Please inspect your artwork upon receipt. If there is any damage to your package when receiving it, it must be noted on the delivery note when the package is signed for.

In the unusual event that your artwork arrives damaged in any way, please contact us soon as possible at with your order number. For insurance purposes, please photograph any damage to both the artwork and the packaging - we will not be able to process your refund without this documentation. We address these rare incidences on a case-by-case basis, but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
